ATLANTA, Ga., July 19, 2016 —

Dear Friends,

Vista Insurance Advisors and the entire family at Breckenridge Insurance Group are saddened to share that a great friend and our esteemed team member William K. Brown, Jr. passed away suddenly last week. Bill was a devoted father, husband, colleague, and friend to anyone whom he came across.

As a founding partner in Vista, Bill brought a wealth of risk management knowledge and passion for dealmaking to our organization. He was one of the sharpest minds in the transactional liability space and was progressive in his thinking on a diverse range of insurance topics. He recently edited a coveted book, Navigating the Cybersecurity Storm, A Guide for Directors & Officers, authored by legal expert Paul A. Ferrillo of Weil Gotshal LLP, and was in the process of editing the follow-up book.

Bill was also known for his keen insights and his graciousness in sharing his kindness and wisdom throughout his long and successful career. Other accomplishments of note included: the founding of FINPRO Specialty, a Transactional and Professional Liability Specialty Practice, while a Managing Director at Marsh & McLennan; he received the Professional Liability Underwriting Society PLUS One Award in honor of his significant industry contributions; and he was a six‐term Governor and the Past President of the John Street Insurance Association.

For those who knew Bill personally, he shared a great enthusiasm for all aspects of life and for his family and friends. He will be greatly missed. Tracey, myself, and all of our team members thank you for your support of the family during this difficult time.

Sincerely,
